How Tome of Madness works

The full name is Rich Wilde and the Tome of Madness. You match four or more symbols in clusters on a 5x5 cascading grid. The Tome is a Special Wild, and Rich Wilde is a Multiplier Wild that multiplies wins by two.

The portal

Every winning cluster charges the portal. At 7 symbols, two Special Wilds replace random symbols. At 14 and at 27 symbols the same happens and, if those wilds are part of a win, the Abyss or Void effect follows. Abyss removes the symbols in the wild's row or column, and Void removes every copy of one random symbol.

Bonus features

Charging the portal with 42 winning symbols opens the Other World, a free round with up to three portal effects. Every three symbols above 42 add an effect, up to seven. Open all the eye marks on the grid in that round and the Mega Wild Cthulhu symbol is released.
