How Reactoonz works
Aliens drop onto a 7x7 grid. A cluster of five or more matching aliens wins, and the larger the cluster the more it pays. Winning aliens are removed and replaced from above, so one round can win several times. Flux capacitors serve as wilds. Play'n GO released Reactoonz in October 2017 as the sequel to Energoonz, and it became the studio's best known grid slot.
The Gargantoon
Each winning cluster transfers energy to the Gargantoon, who waits beside the grid. When he is fully charged he leaps onto the middle of the grid, goes wild and releases a chain reaction of up to five features. Charging him is the whole point of the base game: the clusters themselves pay modestly, and the features he releases are where the large results come from. The charge carries over between spins until he is released.
What the Gargantoon releases
Play'n GO describes the release as a chain reaction of up to five features that rework the grid to create more winning clusters. The features arrive one after another rather than all at once, so a good release can clear and refill the grid several times before the Gargantoon leaves. Oversized aliens are a separate element: when one of them becomes part of a winning cluster it multiplies the prize. Between the two, almost all of the game's large results come from a full charge rather than from ordinary clusters.
What to watch in the demo
Follow the charge between cascades. Most rounds stop short, so you learn how much winning it takes to bring the Gargantoon out. Also watch what happens when he lands: the first feature is usually small and the later ones in the chain are where the grid changes shape. The demo is the best place to see a full release without paying for the spins that lead to it.
Who the game suits
Reactoonz is for players who enjoy a busy grid with a lot to watch and a long build towards one event. It is high volatility, and a session can pass without a full Gargantoon release. Players who want a calm line slot will find it hectic. Players who like Energoonz or Gold Volcano will feel at home.
Reactoonz and Energoonz
Energoonz from 2013 is the simpler original, with a 5x5 grid, a rising win multiplier and a 1,000x prize for clearing the whole grid. Reactoonz added the 7x7 grid, the Gargantoon and the charge system. Both games are on this site, so you can play the series in order and see how the idea developed from a cascade slot into a feature-driven one.
How the grid pays
Clusters pay by size, and the one-eyed aliens are the high symbols while the two-eyed ones are the low symbols. Because wins are removed and refilled, a single spin can produce a long chain of clusters, each one adding charge. Play'n GO lists the maximum win as 4,570.3x the bet, which comes from the Gargantoon features rather than from any single cluster.

Verdict
Reactoonz is the grid slot most other grid slots are measured against. The base game is a charging bar with aliens on it, and the Gargantoon release is the event the whole design leads to. High volatility and a lot happening on screen; the demo tells you within fifty spins whether that mix is for you.
